What's the difference between "doing a project" and project-based learning? In this session participants will look at how quality CTE assignments impact students' college- and career-readiness, examine the essential elements of "Gold Standard" PBL, critique teacher-made PBL units and practice developing a draft project scenario description for a PBL unit using a template that places students in an authentic workplace scenario.
